Latin America Gears Up for the 5th People's Health Assembly

On Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 13h UTC / 10h ARG / 8h COL / 7h GT in the framework of the closing of the 33rd National and Latin American Health Meeting - Laicrimpo: "We are the dream, the ancestral echo, the mother earth that we embrace", Trenque Lauquen, Buenos Aires, Argentina, the launching event for Latin America of the 5th People's Health Assembly (PHA5), Mar del Plata 2024, will take place.

The launch event will feature the participation of Carmen Baez and Hani Serag from PHM Global and Co-Convenors of the PHA5, as well as Roman Vega, PHM Global Coordinator, and will be broadcast online for all of Latin America via Zoom at:

The People's Health Movement is a global movement, active in more than 70 countries, which brings together activists, movements and organizations fighting for the right to health around the world.

The 5th World Assembly for People's Health will be held in Mar del Plata, Argentina from April 7 to 11, 2024 and will be attended by nearly 2000 people, including 700 from different parts of the world.
